MIKKIMONO a genuine cottage industry¬About Us,, I inherited the family home, a small cottage in a walled garden, the year I retired in 2011. Nothing much had changed since I left in 1965, so I did some heavy work, hacking down a 60yr growth of ivy off the shed roof -tore cruciate ligaments in the process, gave up dancing, piled on the kilos, looked for new clothes. Nothing I liked, so I started making things.....next time I looked, I was living in a workroom.......
